Why would Sammy lock the door? He knew I was coming back.

After a minute of searching, Dean triumphantly pulled his key out of his pocket, a few loose receipts floating to the ground with the action.

He was on the other side of the door, setting down his prize and drink in the next moment, ears perking as he heard a strained groan float through the darkness.

Dean wasted no time in re-locking the door before flicking on the light, “Sammy? Everything okay?”

The blonde blinked his eyes as the room flooded with light, brows furrowing as he didn’t find his brother.

Where…? His question cut off as he saw the closed bathroom door. He shook his head and took off his jacket, barely getting it onto the hanger before hearing another groan.

Dean wasted no time in making his way over to the bathroom door. He didn’t even need to press his ear to it to hear more pained moaning.

“Sammy?” He gently knocked, “You okay in there?”

Prompt: Double Cheeseburger Day

“There’s no time to explain!” He grabbed an empty bag and gestured for the youngest to follow him, “Hurry up!”

The urgency in his brother’s voice helped wake Sam up, getting his Hunter Instinct to kick in and he nodded, grabbing a bag off the table before hurrying up the steps after the blonde. He steeled himself as he made his way through the open door, needing to squint as the sunlight hit his eyes.

Once his eyes adjusted, he stopped short as his brother rushed toward the street – which held an overturned transport truck – and raised an eyebrow, “This was the big emergency?”

The blonde fell to his knees in front of the giant pile of burgers that had flooded out into the street and began arm-sweeping the treats into his bag, “Uh, yeah! I gotta save them!”

“Save… the burgers?” Sam made his way closer and took a curious look up and down the road. Other than the truck and his brother, it was empty, “From what?”

“Haven’t you ever heard of the 5 second rule?”

NFF, Funny

On her upcoming birthday, she wished she’d be able to sail around the world. Her owners were old however, and they rarely left the dock nowadays. So, Buttercup decided to take matters into her own hands. She figured, if she could get the Smelly Liquid to fuel the boat, her owners would be more likely to reconsider.

Resolved with her decision to help, Buttercup undoes the latch on her cage and jumps out the window, narrowly missing the dock and landing in the water. She scurries quickly down the old wooden boards, knowing she has to be careful now – outside her boat, she looks no different than any other squirrel. She scurries through the park, getting only momentarily distracted by a nearby acorn.

She shakes her head before pushing onward, unsure of where she could find the Smelly Liquid. She stops running as she reaches the edge of the park, and looks up and down the street in front of her, unsure of which way to go. She thinks for moment, overcome with joy as she sees a sign on a nearby building. Perfect!
